Cake pops are the American version of everyone's favourite ‘Kartoshka’ pastries. Don`t let the round shape of the cake pops fool you. You won`t find a lollipop hidden under the chocolate glaze with various topping flavours, but a small sponge cake! We named our first cake pops Choco pops, because they are completely made of chocolate – from the biscuit crumbs and cream, to the glaze. Choco pops are not only a nice decoration for special occasions, but are also the perfect dessert for children`s parties.
The ingredients of the chocolate biscuit are chocolate, butter, sugar, eggs, flour and baking powder. The chocolate cream is made of chocolate, cream and butter. The topping is a chocolate glaze with a variety of different sprinkles, such as nonpareil, glitter, candy or nut crumbs, dried berries and coconut flakes.
